I follow two of my favourite Photoshop tutorial websites almost regularly, Abduzeedo (link) and PSDTuts (link). Abduzeedo featured a tutorial on recreating a Bokeh effect. I gave it a shot and this is what I came up with. I think of all the little particles like a moment stopped in time.

The typeface used in the image above is Helvetica Neue LT
