If I had to choose between being locked up in a cell or surrounded by sharks, I would choose the latter any day of the week. I know that its a very bold choice but giving up life is easier than giving up freedom. Imagine, being in a cell, where your only source of light and visual stimluation was a little opening with bars. The true essence of life would only then mean the most to us. Monitoring the changes in time and weather would depend on a little outlet that could be static for months on end. The image above is perhaps still a little settling as it lets you see nature. We’ve heard countless stories of imprisonment and tortures, however we never care to notice our surroundings until we are actually deprived of them. So the next time you walk out your door, stop and smell the air, listen to the rustling leaves and watch the clouds roll by and you will truly understand the beauty of nature.
