In high school, we dreamed of getting away from it all and being in college. A place where we would get a new start. We would get a chance to redefine ourselves and embrace things we had never done before.
Moving forward in college and making it to the next level became our next biggest goal. We wanted more and would stop at nothing to achieve it all. Many obstacles – mainly merrymaking – would hinder our progress but we trudged on. In the above image, there are two ways to look at it. It could be that he is just cold and hence holding that expression. But if we were to read between the lines we would feel that maybe that all-nighter he is returning from was not all that eventful.
This is a dedication to all those who work day and night – literally – to get ahead in life. What may be pain right now might actually turn out to be something momentous. To throw in a cliche that is apt; there is no substitute to hard work. Unless you’re a conniving Machiavellian!
