The literal translation of the photograph title varies upon usage. It either means ‘we indians’ or ‘us indians’. The Indian national flag is the flag in the top right corner. The flag is a horizontal tricolour of saffron at the top, white in the middle with the Ashoka Chakra and green at the bottom. The flag is almost always referred to as the ‘tiranga’ (meaning tricolour in Hindi).
Seeing the flag outside India always makes me feel deeply patriotic. It reminds me of where I come from and what my country stands for. Its a beautiful feeling and I’m deeply proud to be an Indian.
