I photographed these berries last week when we were getting heavier snow. On this particular night though, the snow had stopped and falling rain had shaved most of the snow off to leave ice layers on the berries. Most of them don’t have it in this shot, but a few show the glazed reflection of ice. A beautiful shot for me nonetheless. I shot this at night, using the sky as a backdrop. But due to clouds and a light glow from a streetlamp, backdrop was lit. This gave me a good opportunity to process it in black & white.
